Springtown honors veterans’ sacrifices

They’re people, too.
Not just soldiers.
Not just veterans.
But they’re people with families and friends and goals and aspirations whose lives were cut short when they gave what is known as the last full measure of devotion in giving their lives for their country.
That was the message that Lt. Col. James T. Castleman had for those in attendance at the annual Springtown Memorial Day Ceremony May 26 at Veterans Park.
