Helping after Harvey

ESD1 sends 6 firefighters into the flood caused by hurricane

When the call came for help in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, six firefighters from Parker County Emergency Services District 1 (ESD1) answered.
Those firefighters took two 3,000-gallon tankers to assist the Beaumont Fire Department with water supply and to help in any way necessary.
Representing ESD1 were Chief Stephen Watson, Lt. Daniel McConnell, Captains Walt Moore and Casey Kendrick, and Firefighters Ridge Cook and Blake Cretsinger.
Chief Watson was also called on to be a Strike Team Leader.
