Bessie D. Cearley, 94, a homemaker, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at home while under the loving care of staff of a local hospice.
The service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 30 at Greenwood Chapel. Interment will follow at Azleland Cemetery. Bessie was born December 26, 1917 in Campbell and lived in Springtown for over 40 years. She was a loving wife and mother who had a love affair with God all her life. Grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren number over 100. Bessie served on the Board of Directors with Good N.E.W.S. She was a devoted advocate and volunteer for senior citizens and served as chaplain and Noble Grand of White Rose Rebekah Lodge 135. She was preceded in death by her husband, G. Calvin Cearley Sr. Survivors include her children, Betty Chestnut of Fort Worth, G. Calvin Cearley Jr. of Springtown, J. Alvin Cearley of Newcastle, E. Ann Cozby of Boyd and R. “Jody” Cearley of Azle. |
