Gordon Sies, 45, a Poolville resident, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012.
The memorial service was held Monday, July 23 at Agnes Baptist Church.
Gordon was an adventure seeker who pursued the thrill of adrenaline from his hobbies and passions which included being outdoors, racing motocross and working with farm equipment. He has been a professional welder/designer for 27 years. Gordon earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Tarleton State University. In his spare time, he enjoyed helping with the Poolville Math and Science Team and supporting school activities.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Sies; children, Andrew, Austin and Mallory; mother-in-law, Joann Hardin; sisters, Leah and Mikki; and mother, Lillian Sies.
