Magic captures Springtown youngsters’ imagination

Springtown Library hosted its largest group of children this summer when Brett Roberts captured imaginations with a magic show, Friends of the Library treasurer Nanette Fisher said this week.
A lack of funds kept the number of programs lower than in years past, she said.
Roberts began enticing the youngsters as they arrived and by the time the program began, their imaginations were fired, Fisher said.

Most fun of all, Roberts recruited youngsters to help perform the tricks.
This week is the final week of programs, with Jungle Jim and insects, at 1 p.m. Thursday at the library. On Wednesday, library volunteers will hold a story and craft time, also at 1 p.m.
Call 817-523-5862 for more information about the programs or Friends of the Library.
