Springtown will be the newest home to Tractor Supply Company.
City Administrator David Miller said the negotiations, which took place over several months, were finalized Aug. 7.
The Tennessee-based retailer plans to break ground on their 3.5-acre site in November, and hopes to have the 20,000-square-foot store open by early 2019.
Miller said the company expects to bring 10-15 jobs to their store to start out.
The store will be located at the southwest corner of Williams-Ward Road and Hwy. 199 in part of the property known as Springtown Business Park East.
“We are excited that they have chosen Springtown as their next home,” Miller said.
“Tractor Supply has proven to be an excellent community partner and we look forward to working with them in the future,” he added.
Tractor Supply Company has more than 1,700 locations nationwide that specialize in home improvement products, as well as equipment for agriculture, lawn and garden maintenance, and livestock, equine, and pet care.
