It’s once again time for Springtown to welcome its newest teachers to the fold.
Superintendent Mike Kelley called this year’s class of newcomers one of the largest ever.
He added that is due in part to the number of teachers who retired at the end of the 2017-18 school year.
The annual New Teacher Luncheon will once again be held at Oak Knoll Ranch, 478 Three Skillet Road.
Sponsored by the Springtown Pastors Fellowship, the luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9.
Springtown alum and noted motivational speaker Carrie Wilkerson will again deliver the address.
