Library programs continue

The annual series of Springtown Public Library is underway.
Things got poppin’ June 7 with Rockin’ Bubbles by Brett Roberts who was met by a full house of kids at the city’s municipal annex.
One June 14, Creature Teacher makes a visit, followed by perennial favorite Professor Brainius June 21.
Then Critterman comes to town June 28, followed by Arts and Crafts with Christina July 5.
Finally, the Springtown Police Department will make a presentation July 12.
Each program will begin at 1 p.m. either at the Springtown Municipal Annex or Newby Pavilion.

Summer reading program
The summer reading program is also ongoing through the library.
This year’s Summer Reading Challenge runs June 1-July 27 and is open to children under the age of 17.
Kids who read 10 hours or more during the challenge will receive a certificate and can win prizes.
To sign up for the program, stop by the library at 626 North Main St.
