Where are the stones?
There are six Infinity Stones and securing all of them is the goal of the super-powerful enemy in Infinity War, Thanos (Josh Brolin).
The Space Stone (aka the Tesseract):
It first showed up in the post-credit scene in
Thor. It’s possessor can create portals and control space.
It currently is owned by Loki who stole it from Odin’s vault in Asgard.
The Mind Stone
Only two stones are on Earth and this is one of them. Yellow, the stone gave life to Vision and gave the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver their powers.
Right now, it’s embedded in Vision’s head.
The Reality Stone
Actually a liquid called the Aether, is has titanic destructive powers.
It was last seen as part of the Collectors possessions.
The Power Stone
Perhaps the most powerful stone, it vaporizes anyone who touches it and even destory planets.
The Nova Corps on Planet Xandar own it currently.
The Time Stone
Capable of controlling time, this is the other Infinity Stone on Earth.
Doctor Strange has it around his neck in New York City.
The Soul Stone
This is the only stone that has not shown up in movies yet.
Judging from Infinity War’s coming attractions, it must be somewhere in Wakanda since the final battle is waged there.

Who might die?
Expect to see these heroes and villains in Infinity War:
Captain America; Iron Man; Thor; Loki; Nick Fury; Black Panther; Spider-Man; Black Widow; Falcon; Scarlet Witch; Ant-Man; Hawkeye.
And: Bucky Barnes; Doctor Strange; War Machine; Vison; Star-Lord; Gamora; Mantis; Nebula; Groot; Drax; Rocket; the Collector; and the Hulk.
Not to mention Wakandan and Asgardian warriors, limo drivers, and Pepper Potts.
Word is out that some will die.
Three heroes are most likely: Iron Man, Captain America, and Vision.
Robert Downey, Jr. has said he’s done just about all he could with the role.
Likewise, Chris Evans said he’s through with the Cap.
But, since previews show that Thanos procures the Mind Stone, that would seem to be curtains for Vision.
We’ll see April 27.
