Linda Sue Farris 1946 – 2017

Linda Sue Farris, 70, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Linda was born Oct. 12, 1946 in Meridian to the late William and Mona Gay. She was a wonderful homemaker and will be missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Marshall Farris; sons, Ronnie Smith and Brad Hardee and wife, Becky; grandson, Dylan Smith; granddaughter, Olivia Hardee; brother, Bill Gay, and wife, Linda; niece, Terrie Fisher and husband, Evan.

Lucy Elaine Terry 1924 – 2017

Lucy Elaine Terry was called to be with the Lord and joined her husband, Virgil, on May 21, 2017 at the age of 92.
Lucy was born to the late Causby and Irma Strong on July 5, 1924 in Lexington, Oklahoma. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be deeply missed by us all.
Lucy was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Virgil Terry and brothers, Causby Strong, Jr. and Kendall Strong.

Bill James Parker 1935 – 2017

Billy James “Jim” Parker, born Feb. 1, 1935 at home in LeFlore, Oklahoma, passed away May 22, 2017 asleep at home in his chair.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at White’s Azle Chapel.
Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at White’s Azle Funeral Home.
Jim was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, teacher and friend to countless precious souls. He was born to a military family and lived in many places including Harve de Grace, Maryland.
Upon graduation he joined the United States Army where he proudly served his country for four years. Christy “Gammy” Gentry Feltman went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 19, 2017.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 1 p.m. with a Celebration of Life following.
Christy was born Dec. 22, 1952 to Eual Rexford Gentry and Thelma Delores Verbick Gentry in Fort Worth, Texas. Christy Gentry Feltman graduated from Springtown High School in 1971 where she cheered and played basketball. The Judge was born April 28, 1942 to George and Edith Burdock in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
After graduation from high school in Des Moines, he proceeded to learn the trucking business, where he was an over-the-road driver and member of the Teamsters local 147.

Kathey Lynne Stovall passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the age of 66.
Kathey was born to the late Edward and Mildred Hicks on June 16, 1950 in Wichita Falls. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed by us all.

Helen Geerlings, of Boyd, Texas died May 12, 2017.
Funeral services are May 19 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Springtown, Texas, with Dr. Hal Kincaid officiating.
Helen was born on March 4, 1944 in Macon County, Missouri to Robert and Mildred Wilson. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Macon High School in 1961. She married Lambert Geerlings of Callao, Missouri on Oct. 30, 1965.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert Wilson, and nephew, Lewis Wilson.
Helen is survived by her husband of 51 years, Lambert; her children – Sarah Joyce (Marty), of Owasso, Oklahoma and their children, Andrew, Brian and Caleb; her son, Matthew Geerlings (Cara), of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa and their children, Anna and Lauren; brother, Richard Wilson of Weslaco, Texas and one sister-in-law, Rena Wilson of Macon, Missouri, along with many nieces and nephews.… Read the rest

Graveside service is at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Springtown Cemetery.
Jamie was born July 13, 1960 to Jim and Sandra Hukill. Mr. Hukill, a lifelong area resident, graduated from Keller High School in 1978. His hobbies included hunting and fishing and he loved the outdoors. Jamie was a certified welder and a skilled craftsman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim R. Hukill.

Wanda Brucille Bobo Mauldin, 72, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by those that loved her. At her request there will be no service scheduled.
Brucille was born March 6, 1945 in Boyd to William Alford and Lillian Zay Thompson Bobo. They preceded her in death along with a brother, Adron and sister, Betty.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Doyle; children, Todd Mauldin, Jackie Mauldin and wife, Toni and Cheryl Lee and husband, Tim; sister, Earlene; grandchildren, Kayla, Alyssa, Garrett, Mindy, Kasi and Jake; great-grandchildren, Tripp and Presley.
