Gordon Lee Jacobs 1941 – 2016

Gordon Lee Jacobs, 75, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016.
Memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Monday at White’s Funeral Chapel, Springtown.
Gordon was born March 13, 1941, to William Don and Mabel Grace Franklin Jacobs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Shirley Marie Jacobs and Jeanette Jacobs; former wife, Kay Jacobs.
Survivors include children, Angel Falcon and husband, Wayne Jr., Justine Buckner and husband, Mike, Loretta Humphries and husband, Chris, Nancy McCurdy, Rickie Jacobs and wife, Patricia, Geri Taylor and husband, Derek; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Malcolm Jacobs; and sister, Janet Mitchell.

Glenn was born June 3, 1960 in Fort Worth to James and Maxine Rogers Richardson. They both preceded him in death.

Frances “Fran” Cline, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016.
Graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Monday at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of White’s Azle Funeral Home.
Frances was born Nov. 5, 1929 in Clarksville to F.H. and Linnie Jackson McHam.
She loved her family dearly and will be remembered for having a green thumb in growing gardens and flowers. Fran was an excellent cook and she loved to take care of the less fortunate. She made many quilts, sewed for people and canned lots of veggies. Fran was a member of New Hope Baptist Church for many years.… Read the rest

Gladys passed from this earth on March 19, 2016 in Weatherford, Texas.
Services were held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Roberts Family Affordable Funeral Home at 5025 Jacksboro Highway, Fort Worth, Texas. Interment followed at Azleland Cemetery.
Gladys was born May 20, 1934 in Middleport, New York. Gladys met Pasquale D. Catone in 1953 and they were married on May 7, 1955.
Survivors include two daughters, Tina Child of Azle, Susan Johnson of Azle; son, Pasquale J. Catone of Colorado and sister Audrey

Allen D. Shelton danced his way into heaven Friday, March 18, 2016.

Allen was a veteran of the U.S. Army and per his wishes Neptune Society Crematory will handle all arrangements.

Rosie Wheeler, 77, died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at a Fort Worth hospital. At this time, no services are scheduled. Placement of cremated remains will be at a later date at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Grand Prairie.
Rosie was born Aug. 1, 1938 in Chalk to Hayden and Lorene Jones Stone. They both preceded her in death along with her husband, William Dallas Wheeler.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Sheley Stone and his wife, Shirley of Amarillo; fiance, Donald Leonard of Boonsville; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends all of whom will miss her dearly.

Billy Earl Barrett, 74 years old of Springtown, Texas left this life Monday March 14, 2016.
Billy was born May 12, 1941 in Neohoka Mississippi to Thurmand O. and Luna Mae Ladd-Barrett.
Billy met and later married Katie Lee Booth-Barrett. Together they raised four children, Billy Earl Tucker, Bille Jean Barrett-Walters, Wanda Elliott and Tammy White. Even though our hearts are heavy, he is with our Lord and Savior in heaven.
Survivors include brother William Barrett; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Keith Nolan Myers, 44, a loving son and brother passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016.
Funeral service was held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Alexander’s Midway Funeral Home, with burial immediately following at Azleland Memorial Park.
Keith was born Sept. 3, 1971 in Fort Worth. He graduated from Grapevine High School and lived most of his life in Grapevine, most recently in Springtown. Keith was a guitarist with an easy going free spirit, and loved the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Wanda Mason.
