Billie Margaret Williams, 90, joined the love of her life on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016.
Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2016 at White’s Funeral Home, 401 North Main, Springtown. Interment at Springtown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to service.
Billie was born Feb. 2, 1926 in Springtown to Clarence and Alice Gilliland, where she lived her entire life. She enjoyed traveling, visiting with family and friends, and especially her trips to Winstar.
Billie was preceded in death by her husband Alton; parents; brothers, Reed and Howard; and sister, Oneeta.
Survivors include son, Ellis Matlock, wife Etta of Azle; daughter, Cindy Kilpatrick and husband, Steve of Springtown; grandchildren, Nicki Chesney and husband, Brandon, John Kilpatrick and wife, Savannah, Jeff Matlock and wife, Pam, Jamie McMullen and husband, David; great-grandchildren, Vince, Valarie, Chance, Ashley, Bradyn, Landon and Cameron; numerous nieces and nephews.… Read the rest
Hal Thomas Freeman 64, passed away on Sept. 28, 2016.
A Celebration of Life will be held at First United Methodist Church of Azle at 200 Church Street, Azle, on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. Services will be led by Dr. Scott Youngblood.

Hal was born on Oct. 23, 1951 in Decatur to the late Vernon and Geneva Freeman.

Ty was born Oct. 5, 1943 in Independence, Kansas to the late Tyrus and Iva Taylor. He loved spending time with his family, traveling in his RV and enjoying their time fishing on Lake Texoma. James “Jim” Allen, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, Oct. 3, 2016.

Jim was born Feb. 4, 1954 in Fort Worth, to James and Patsy Allen. He graduated high school from L.D. Bell in Bedford, and then joined the U.S. Navy. Zechariah Daniel “Zac” Webb, a beloved husband, father, son and brother, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2016 in a Fort Worth hospital after a brief illness.
Services for Zac Webb, 33, of Springtown will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Springtown Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Springtown Church of Christ. Burial will be at Jaybird Cemetery under the direction of Biggers Funeral Home.
Zac was born April 19, 1983 in Fort Worth. He was a 2001 graduate of Springtown High School, where he was an outstanding athlete, qualifying for the UIL State Track Meet as a senior in the 400 meter run.… Read the rest

Betty Jane Taylor Ham passed away Sept. 12, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at the Tabernacle in Springtown at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 14.
She was born in Springtown on Oct. 1, 1926 to Thomas Grady Taylor and Alma Elizabeth Dodd Taylor. She was the granddaughter of Springtown pioneers, Robert Watkins (Jim) Taylor and Laura Woodward Taylor and George Washington Dodd and Sallie Jane Thomas Dodd.
She is survived by her sister, Alma Sue Taylor Price; son, Jim Taylor; daughters, Paige Loveless, Elizabeth Ellis, Sally Taylor; and grandson, Joaquin Guynes.

Brigitte E. Clayton passed away Sept. 28, 2016 at Riverside Community Hospital. Brigitte fought the battle of old age and lived a life like no other.
Celebration of Life will be held graveside Oct. 6, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Olivewood Memorial Park.
Brigitte was born Dec. 17, 1928; originally from Leipzig, Germany, before moving to the U.S. in 1955 with her father. She loved her work as an OR Nurse for 40 years. She worked and traveled to many places: Ft. Worth, Texas, Los Angeles, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, and even Oahy, Hawaii.
