Brian George Pitney passed away on Feb. 9, 2017 in Springtown.
Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017 in care of Roberts Family Funeral Home.
Brian leaves behind his mother-in-law, Sharon McDonald; daughter, April Pitney; son-in-law, Larry Sullivan; grandsons, Eric Pitney, Jeremiah Pitney and Jake Sullivan; sister, Jane Roberts along with many other loving family members and friends.

Robert Aitken, 74, a loving husband, father and grandfather passed away, Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m, Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 at East Side Baptist Church, Fort Worth. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at Alexander’s Midway, Springtown.
Robert was born May 2, 1942 in Dumbarton Scotland, Great Britain to Robert and Margaret Valentine Aitken. His parents preceded him in death along with three brothers and two sisters.
He served in the the US Air-Force as a Flight Engineer and retired after 20 years of dedicated service.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Sandy; children, Judy (Jay) Williams, Robert (Lana) Aitken, Jr., Maggie (Phillip) Glass, James (Cathy) Aitken, Ernie Tagle, Richard Tagle, Kris (Mark) McMahon, Kevin (Sharon) Raper and Pamela King; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.… Read the rest
Korene Munn Gilbert died peacefully at home on Feb. 11, 2017 after a brief illness.
Private services will be held in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Rickey Lee Fulkerson left this world at his home in Lake Worth on Feb. 1, 2017 to return to our Lord and Savior.
Services were helpd on Feb. 7, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home followed by a committal service at Springtown Cemetery.
Rickey leaves behind his wife of forty-three years, Barbara Williams-Fulkerson, his three children as well as his many grandchildren.

SSgt. Patrick R. Griffin, USMC, age 32, of Fort Worth, Texas, beloved son of Michelle Trinidad Patterson and Sean P. Griffin passed away on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017 in Iwakuni, Japan.

Evelyn Ruth Stephens passed away Jan. 22, 2017 in Weatherford with her family by her side.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, 102 Lakeridge Road, Fort Worth, Texas.
Evelyn was born in Gran-bury on Oct. 26, 1949. She attended Azle schools. She worked as a police dispatcher and court clerk in Samson Park and Springtown as well as serving as a Municipal Judge in Pelican Bay.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, sister, brother and her daughter Cherylene Farquhar.
She is survived by her daugh-ter, Charolette McCune and her husband Jason; her sons, Michael Brumbelow and his wife, Ann; Eric Robinson and his wife, Laura and Eddie Robinson and his fiancée, Rita Minniear; sister, Paula Taylor; brother, Chris Pender; 14 grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.… Read the rest
James Wesley “Wes” Win-stead passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 23, 2017 at the age of 50.
Wes was laid to rest Friday, Jan. 27, 2017. Services were held at Biggers Funeral Home and interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Wes was a longtime resident of Azle and Springtown Texas. He graduated from Springtown High School in 1984. He was the previous owner of Springtown Feed and Fertilizer, Winstead Trucking and Azle Paint and Body.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Shawn; daughter, Morgan of Springtown; par-ents, James and Marsha of Azle and numerous other family and friends.

Frankie F. Medlin was born Sept. 22, 1928 in Newcastle, Texas, to Troy Frazier and Ima Worley Frazier. She was a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University, Waxahachie. She received a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in education from the University of North Texas. Funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Chapel, followed by a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. in Oakland Cemetery in Weatherford. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet.
Clyde was born June 25, 1931, to Sular and Kate Vandergriff of Pocahontas, Ark.
