Paul Corneau 84 of Azle passed on March 5, 2017.
Funeral services will be held on March 24 at 10 a.m. at Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
Paul resided in Azle for over 30 years with his late wife, Joyce Corneau.
Paul was born in Central Falls, Rhode Island. Paul served in the Korean War and was awarded a Silver Star, two Bronze Stars, one Korean service medal, one combat infantry badge, and one overseas bar.
Survivors include his sons, Wayne of Springtown, Kevin of Dallas and six children from Rhode Island and Oregon, 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister in Rhode Island and a brother in Florida.… Read the rest

Lester W. Moreland Sr., 82, passed away at home Saturday, March 18, 2017.
A private committal will be held at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Ima Moreland; son, Les Mo-reland; daughters, Diane Mo-reland, Diane Goains, Debbie Grisham and Kristy Coleman; eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mary Jean Sandlin, 84, of Springtown passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 4 at Friendship Baptist Church. Burial followed at Veal Station Cemetery.
Mary was born Dec. 31, 1932 to Louie and Maudiebell Coldiron Ellis in Clarendon. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She and her husband were dairy farmers and she was a beauty operator. Mary was involved in 4-H with her children.

Evelyn Marie Martin 1925 – 2017

Evelyn Marie Baker Martin, 92, passed away, Monday, March 6, 2017.
Evelyn was born March 4, 1925 in Ringland, Oklahoma to Vergie May and Willie “Dink” Baker.  They both preceded her in death along with her husband, three sisters and one brother.
After moving to Texas, she met and married Waymon Martin.  She was always an independent and determined lady.  She loved her family and all the extended children and great grandchildren.  Evelyn worked hard her whole life up into her 80’s and enjoyed driving her Lincoln.  Even at the the age of 91, she always got up, dressed nicely, fixed her hair, makeup.  She enjoyed dancing at the seniors meetings,  and was known for her love of life and quick wit along with being a little contrary at times.… Read the rest

Linda was born June 20, 1950, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Otto Behringer and Ella Mae Paris. Linda loved taking care of animals, being outdoors, enjoyed looking at flowers and things of nature. Michael Edward Farner, 57, of Springtown passed away Feb. 21, 2017 at home. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 24 at Veal Station Cemetery.
Mike was born Sept. 14, 1959 to Joe and Loraine Robinson Farner, in Fort Worth. He was a hard worker and will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Joe Farner.

Marilyn was born April 4, 1942 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Edgar Hayden and Pansie Viola Bates White. They both preceded her in death along with her brother, Alton White and grandson, Dustin Martin.

Charles “Glenn” Harris died Dec. 3, 2016. Glenn will be greatly missed by those who loved being around him and hearing his stories.
Glenn was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War where he worked radar on the F-85. After having served his country he began his career with the Department of Defense where he was a lead inspector on various projects, the Hound Dog and Apollo missile program but his most prized project was the E4-B; the Airborne Command Post also known today as Air Force One.
