Nina Grace Miller Carson, 88, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017.
Service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at White’s Funeral Home, 401 N. Main St., Springtown, 76082. Interment was at Springtown Cemetery. Visitation was at 10 a.m. preceding the funeral at White’s Funeral Home.
Nina just celebrated her 88th birthday with her sister, Nelda Jo Stephens, and Nelda’s children, Norma Jo and Trevor. She was born in Ralls, Texas on Dec. 29, 1928, and attended school in Paradise, Texas, graduating in 1946. Alex Bayless, 23, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017 in Fort Worth.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 13 at 2 p.m. in Alexander’s Midway Chapel in Springtown.
Alex was born March 9, 1993 in Fort Worth to Kayla Howard Stewart and Richard Bayless.

Ernest Dial, 62, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016.
Service was at 10 a.m. Tuesday at White’s Azle Chapel. Interment at Pioneer Cemetery, Graham.
Ernest was born Jan. 26, 1954 in Fort Worth. He was a 20 year volunteer fireman with Edgcliff Fire Department and a police officer with Forest Hill, River Oaks, and Fort Worth.
He was employed with Med Star over 15 years. Ernest was raised in the city but became a country boy fast. He loved animals, showing miniature horses, enjoyed fishing and spending time at home with his family. Ernest was a kind and caring person.

Delores “Dee” Dianne Skinner Shappa, 65, a loving and faithful wife, daughter, mother, sister and grandmother passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 in Azle.

Annie Elizabeth Rhodes, 93, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016.

Larry Lee Dauenhauer, 69 of Chico passed away Dec. 2, 2016 in Decatur.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Brother Jeff Baker.
Larry was born in Vallejo, California on Oct. 14, 1947 to Tony and Anna (Treibish) Dauenhauer. He loved being outdoors and riding his motorcycle at every opportunity, he was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Steven Dauenhauer.

Warren Mullennix, 92, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016.
Services were held Monday, Nov. 21 at the First Baptist Church of Springtown. Interment was at Azleland Memorial Park.
Warren was born Aug. 25, 1924 in Crowley to Margaret Viola Clinton and Eugene Douglas Mullennix. He was employed at General Dynamics for 36 years. Warren was a Mason in Azle for over 50 years. He was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church and then First Baptist Church of Springtown.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; a sister; and a daughter.
